Summary: This paper is a first attempt in weaving an overarching Cypriot-Bulgarian narrative. Its working <\/em>hypothesis is that the contemporary Cypriot-Bulgarian relationship stands on two main pillars: On one <\/em>hand, is the Orthodox Christian background, and on the other, is the Socialist background. With the end of <\/em>the Cold War, the Fall of Communism and the subsequent accession of both countries in the European <\/em>Union, the traditions of these two socio-political currents have both served in further enhancing the <\/em>relations of the two nations. Taking into consideration the cultural, diplomatic and security fronts, the <\/em>paper furnishes the narrative with autobiographical stories in order to highlight the manifestation of these <\/em>multifaceted relations.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
